What is taught in the Junior Karate class?
The Junior karate class is designed to teach your children the level of self-confidence and self-advocacy they will need to become successful adults. This class teaches biomechanical movement, discipline, awareness, and practical personal protection skills in a format that is both enjoyable and beneficial for children. Your Junior Karate trainee will learn the foundations of character development in a format that is both educational and fun. Karate is practiced for many reasons. The primary reason for the martial arts and the inherent discipline is character development. One of the key points of character development is providing children with healthy outlets for self-expression. Without these outlets, children often develop anger issues and the inability to properly advocate for themselves.
ARE YOU READY!
If you are ready to sign your child up to become a Junior Karate expert, reach out immediately! The class will max out at 12 children and will only be offered as vacancies become available. The Junior Karate program is $30 monthly, and offered Saturdays from 9-10am in the lower level Fitness Room in the Havana Park District Gym at 127 East Jefferson Street in downtown Havana.
