Old Shoe

Old Shoe is a five-piece Americana roots rock band based out of Chicago, Illinois. Established in 2010, Old Shoe has steadily forged the Midwest scene with its organic grooves and growing loyal fanbase. The band’s humble beginnings quickly grew to high profile festival appearances at events like Summer Camp and Wakarusa, and opening slots for artists like Bruce Hornsby and Leftover Salmon. The band has even produced 14 annual installments of its own festival, Shoe Fest, drawing national acts and thousands of attendees from across the country.

Made up of talented songwriters, the band’s compositions paint a diverse landscape of American life. Old Shoe currently has five full-length albums under its belt.

Old Shoe’s music crosses many genres, from bluegrass to funk, folk to indie, but it all lands in a space that is as comfortable as an old shoe.

The Mighty Pines

The Mighty Pines are the band that puts the wildcat guitar in the jazzgrass, the electric mandolin in the country-reggae, the three-part harmony in the zydeco-folk, and the contrapuntal bass in the jump-blues jamboree. It’s the Mighty Pines, the butt-kickingest band in Americana that has made national splashes by way of the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, NBC’s The Voice, collaborations with the legendary Michael McDonald and Yonder Mountain String Band’s Allie Kral, and their own booming roots-music festival, Pines Fest.

The St. Louis based Mighty Pines have barnstormed the country with their almighty musicality, gorgeous ambrosial melodies, pass-the-chillum string shredding, consciousness-expanding grassedelica, and electric roots-rock fire. Nobody brings it live like the Pines, as the quartet continues to wow audiences by bringing their superb original material to life with daredevil picking, sophisticated arrangements, and amazing melodic charge.

Seth Walker

Seth Walker is a revered modern Americana artist; a three dimensional talent combining a gift for melody and lyric alongside a rich, Gospel-drenched, Southern-inflected voice with a true blue knack for getting around on the guitar. Currently residing in Asheville after stints living in Nashville, New Orleans and Austin, he’s used those experiences wisely, soaking up the sounds and absorbing the musical lineage of these varied places.

With a bluesman’s respect for roots and tradition, coupled with an appreciation for contemporary songwriting, Seth sublimely weaves a range of styles with warmth and grace. All Music declares, “Walker is deft and elegant, weaving together sounds and stories in a way that has a quiet, lasting impact,” but perhaps Country Standard Time said it best: “If you subscribe to the Big Tent theory of Americana, then Seth Walker, with his blend of blues, gospel, pop, R&B, rock, and a dash country, just might be your poster boy.” His latest album, Why The Worry, is out now.
